hi,

I recently got a new laptop. I'm trying to install intel uhd630, but I'm getting an error message "This computer does not meet the requirements for installing the software." It's my first time dealing with intel's hd graphics so I'm a little confused on a few things. I'm using the latest driver from intel's website v15.65 I even tried the previous v15.60.

First)
When I look in device manager I don't see anything showing that requires a driver to be installed with the yellow triangle. If intel's hd graphics are not installed shouldn't I see that?

Second) This is related to the first part, should I be seeing intel's HD graphics under display adapters alongside my gtx 1070 if it's installed properly?

Third) Is it possible the HD graphics won't appear because the nvidia gpu is installed?

Please let me know if you need more info, thank you.

System Specs:
cpu: i7 8700
mobo: P7xxTM1
memory: 32gb HyperX Impact
gpu: gtx 1070
ssd: WD Black PCIe NVMe m.2 512gb

In device manager, display adapters, you should see both HD630 as well as GTX1070m.
There should be no yellow ! mark under properties if you have a driver installed.

A laptop will have both types of adapters to handle gaming when running plugged in and using the GTX1070M adapter, and using the integrated HD630 adapter when on battery to save power.

You should also be able to explicitly tell which to use.

I don't have any of that. Nothing seems missing and the HD630 is not showing up either. What should I do?

What is the make/model of your laptop?
I think it may be a specialized clevo gaming laptop.

I7-8700 and GTX1070 are not normal mobile laptop parts.

Your source for drivers will be the clevo web site .
The motherboard may be proprietary and not include the HD630 graphics capability.
