Ryzen 5 1600 temperature. NOT overclocked

My ryzen 5 1600 idlels around 35-45.
And hits 46-57ish while gaming.
My Bios gives me higher temps at idle though, around 40-56.
It's kinda confusing.
Are this temps normal?
Any suggestions as to which software I should use to measure CPU temps?
I am using a gigabyte AB350M gaming-3 motherboard.

Depends how hot it is in your room and where your PC is. Having your PC closer to the floor should lower the temperature, because hot air rises. I put mine about at one palm above the ground and the temperatures also went down about 5 degrees.

But with the stock cooler, I'd say it's OK.
My Ryzen 3 1200 was hitting around 47 degrees while gaming.
Changing the cooler dropped my temps about 10 degrees. Now it hits 37 max.
