I have broken the screen on my Msi ge70 apache pro laptop, and have been since projecting it with hdmi to my TV. I then felt the need to reset the pc, as it seemed filled with viruses and was getting slower. Durin the reset, the computer wasnt projecting anything,so i turned it off and on again( I know, huge mistake) and then it was stuck in a loop. I wiped my hard drive on a friend's desktop. Then,I got the USB stick with windows 10 installation, from the media creation tool. But when I turn on my computer,It doesn't project anything to the tv. So I'm not able to go into the BIOS or the windows installation. Any thing I can do? A new monitor is not an option.

Solution
Try using an external monitor, not a TV. Connect it while the laptop is off, turn on the monitor and then turn on the laptop. It should show then. NOTE: Don't connect via HDMI for this. That is part of the issue.

Should it still not work, then you will need to replace the attached display.

Thanks for the reply!
I have previously tried with an external monitor, but only using HDMI. Should I use VGA?
