Hey guys, I currently have an old amd fx 6200 system as my main computer.
I am looking to upgrade and I have about 350 $.
I am also looking to keep my graphics card (750ti) until I can get a 1060 or better, keeping psu (500w bronze) and case for now (enermax full size) what components should I buy or should I save up? thanks, Moofie.
FYI: I also have 32gb of ddr3 ram that I can either sell or use when I upgrade the system, so if you choose ddr4 parts you can include about another 100$ in the budget.

Solution

Think this ram should be able to fetch more than $100,-.See sellers here in Holland for around €200,- which roughly in parts world means $200,- for US dollars, also see an seller on Ebay for about that amount.

If the rest of your parts are still usable would the next be a good choice,
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor ($179.00 @ B&H)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - Z370P D3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($98.98 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V...
You need a CPU/motherboard/DDR4 ram combo. There's no real point to upgrading what you have now unless you're moving up to something modern, ie DDR4 based. If you pick a Ryzen with Vega graphics you can still reuse the 750 Ti since it will give you superior performance, and it won't require you to sacrifice system ram for the graphics.

I was thinking about maybe buying a ryzen 5 1500 or 1400, 8gb of dd4 and an am4 board, but keeping gpu for a bit. How would that be?

Motherboard can be cheaper.

Just for reference these two systems, but with the Intel is that the cheapest motherboard available.
