I'm going to build my first gaming computer soon, and i was wondering if this build would be sufficient to play most of the newest titles at max graphical settings while also maintaining good frame rates. I'm also wondering whether i could make this build cheaper in any ways, and if i have good part selection :)

Intel Build, Sadly only 370 Motherboard exsist right now so its pointless to stick anything other then a K chip in them so you can overclock. Until the B and H model motherboards appear that is.

If you are going to Intel, you will want the 8th generation coffee lake parts and z370 board.

Also, you want to get a kit of 2 8gb sucks so that you can run dual channel. I would suggest maybe a little bigger power supply that way you've got a little room for upgrades.

So look at the i5 8400 maybe and a z370 board. You could also look at the AMD ryzen 1600 or 1600x and a b350 series board.

Ryzen Build. You could spend alittle more and get the 1600x If you want more cores for productivity or streaming and gaming. I also stuck 3200 speed RAM on there, although expensive Rzyens do better with fast speed RAM.
