Which is the Best Suited CPU for the Asus Expedition GTX 1050 Ti OC 4GB Graphics Card?

So I've currently selected the GTX 1050 Ti graphics card as the rest are quite expensive.

Could someone the best graphics card for this GPU? I do not intend on Overclocking my CPU.

Can't say which would be "best" for it because even most powerful CPUs would work with it. They question should be about sufficient CPU to run whatever you want to run with your system.

I'd suggest a system based on https://ark.intel.com/products/126687/Intel-Core-i5-8400-Processor-9M-Cache-up-to-4_00-GHz or AMD R5 1600 processors.

If I get the intel core i5-8400, I'll also have to get RAM that matches up to its frequency of 2666 right? Are there any major setbacks if I use RAM that is 2400Mhz?

The price jump is of $50 for a 2666Mhz + RAM.

You need an MB too but no, no major setbacks with 2400MHz RAM.

Alright great. This is the PC Build I have finalized on. But I'm going to replace the Z370 Mobo with the H and B Mobo's for Coffee Lake which I hope comes out in April.
