CS:GO ping messed up by windows 10 latest update

Until the latest windows update, CS:GO was working perfectly on my computer with 10-30 ms pings and 40-60 fps. But Windows updated itself recently and after that ping intervals go haywire and are always in 500-1000 ms range. Can anything be done to fix it?

Solution
Using Steam? Open Steam, click on settings then in game - does your in game browser ping level say "Automatic 5000". Check your CS:GO game files for integrity. Other than those areas for review I am a bit stuck for a suggestion other than are you connecting to a game server which is different than normal, but that would not be caused by a windows update.

What are your internet connections? Wired or WiFi?
1. Use System Restore to prior to the update. or
2. Uninstal your device. Shut down your computer. Restart your computer and the device should be reinstalled. Test your internet connection. If still sluggish do either1. or search for an updated device driver.

Thanks for the reply. Internet is on WiFi connection. I don't have a restore point so restoring is not an option. Internet connections have no problem, it's only in the game. I searched but the one I have already is the updated driver.
