AMD Ryzen 5 1600 build, how future proof is it and if not what to upgrade/change?

MSI B350 Tomahawk 7th Gen AMD Motherboard

CPU:
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz Processor(Will OC this)
(can also wait for 5 2600)

GPU:
ZOTAC/EVGA/GIGABYTE 1070

Monitor:
Asus 24inch LED 3D Monitor (VG248QE)
Acer 24 inch LED GN246HL

Does not look terrible. You will want to upgrade to 16gb at some point. Ryzen does like faster ram but it still runs ok on 2400. That's what I'm currently running with my 1600.

If you haven't bought things yet, then I'd try to go ahead and purchase faster ram.

Personally, I think I'd feel better with at least a 650 way power supply in that build. 120gb SSD will work for a boot drive but can fill up. If you can afford a 240gb or so might give a little more breathing room, but not required.

I think ryzen + CPUs release in April to if you can wait, you might want to wait since we are that close.
