[SOLVED] Can you use higher version ram than whats on the compatability list?

My mother board, Gigabyte GA-AB350n gaming wifi supports the ram i plan on using CMK16GX4M2C3000C16 on ver. 3.31. Is that a minimum version ie. it also supports 4.31 or does it have to be that specific version?

QVLs indicate memory verified to work with a particular device. In terms of memory support, you can use many more makes/models than listed on a QVL.

You should be fine with either version of the memory mentioned.
