Bios updating help

Need help with updating my bios.
The motherboard I have is the B250m PRO-VDH motherboard.
I've gone to the support page of the motherboard and see "AMI BIOS"
I then see the most recent bios update for the motherboard there.
Do I click on it, download it and update my motherboard with it?
Please list steps as I do not have a CLUE on what I'm doing with bios updating.

Why do you think you should update your bios?
Updating a bios is a risky business.
If the update should fail, you may be left with a non working motherboard and difficulty in recovering.
If the update contains a fix for a problem that is impacting you, then, ok, go ahead and update.
Before you do, read your motherboard manual on how to do it.
Prefer a usb based solution before a windows solution.
You can be in trouble if windows fails during the process.
Be patient.
It will take some time to do the update with no apparent progress.

Best to avoid a bios update.
Even now, I would wait since there are some iffy updates coming out regarding the spectre and other problems.
Make certain these updates are sound.
