Computer bluescreens, "check for solution" does nothing

Hey'all,

been having an issue where my computer will crash if left alone for a while. Doesn't crash while I'm actively using it.

If I leave my computer on for a while, when I get back I'll type my password to log in, and be greeted with a "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown". I click the "check for solution" button, the computer thinks for a second, then the windows disappears with nothing else happening. Unhelpful to say the least.

I've run Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials, no problems there.
This hasn't started happening as a result of a driver update or anything, as far as my knowledge goes. I use to not leave my computer on that long, but the past few times I have this has occurred.

Here is info from the window before I click "check for solution" or close it:

Solution
Automatic updates can install some feature or driver update which is incompatible with the hardware software.
Use system restore to set the drive back to before the problem started.
After system is set back with a restore:
Set all updates to manual
Check manufacturer for list of incompatible updates.
