Hello!
I'm having problems with my current psu because i got myself a new 1050 ti, so I decided to buy a more powerful one but since im having a lenovo thinkcentre m92p sff, which comes in a small box, im not sure exactly what kind of psu i should be looking for. So i'm here to ask for advice, any suggestions, thanks in advice. ( here are my specs, https://www.cnet.com/products/lenovo-thinkcentre-m92p-3218-core-i5-3470-3-2-ghz-monitor-none-series/specs/)

Solution

Spontaneous shutdowns are usually an indicator of a power supply problem. The higher load placed on the power supply by the new graphics card may have accelerated the degradation of the PSU's internal components.

You'll need to get the following two components to solve your problem:

300W TFX12V PSU:

24 Pin to 14 Pin ATX Adapter Cable for...
What's the brand and model of the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti card? Is it a model that requires a 75-Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector?

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p SFF's 240W PSU is proprietary so if you replace it with a TFX12V PSU you will need to use a 24 Pin to 14 Pin ATX Adapter Cable to make it work.

Example of a 300W TFX12V PSU:

Example of a 350W TFX12V PSU:

Example of a 24 Pin to 14 Pin ATX Adapter Cable for Lenovo:

If the graphics card requires a 75-Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector you'll need to use an adapter cable.

4 pin Molex to 6 pin PCIe Supplementary Power Adapter Cable

it's an msi nvidia geforce gtx 1050ti, low profile, 4gb

That card doesn't require a 75-Watt 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector. It gets all of its power through the PCI Express slot on the motherboard.

Have you even tried using the current PSU? It may already be sufficient for your system configuration.

I'm rly sorry to waste your time with my * , but i'm not exactly sure what you are asking me

<Language, please. Thanks>

You said you already purchased the graphics card. Have you tried installing the graphics card into your system without changing the existing 240 Watt power supply?

yes, i purchased it maybe 2 or 3 months ago,it was working perfectly well, and actually the problem appeared 3 days ago when my pc started to randomly shut down, and i've no ideas left but switching to another psu ( here's some more info http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3665497/randomly-shutting.html )
