CPU Frequency is locked on new version bios

Hello, I have a problem with this version BIOS. That's it the frequency is locked on 3.50GHz Basic Frequency. And if I try OC manualy on the frequency 3.xxGHz so in the bios i see new frequency 3.80GHz for example. But in Task Manager Windows 10 i see basic freq. 3.50GHz. But programs CPU-Z show 3.80GHz. When i turn ON Game Mode is clock 3.70GHz and this clock i see in task manager and CPU-Z. In the previous version BIOS everything works fine. Over 3.50GHz I can not get it.. I would like to know if this is a problem with this BIOS version. But i reinstall Windows and still same... Or if there is an option to go back to the old version of BIOS or I have to wait for the repair or something... I was looking for a fix and unfortunately did not find it. Thank you for answer

Have you got boost switched on in your bios?

Basically if you have boost on in your BIOS for CPU and Graph card what happens is the frequency will be your base cpu speed and when using pc depending on what you are doing fluctuates between your base and your boost speed say e.g base 4.0mhz boosts to 4.7 in extreme gaming and such, I think i'm pretty sure if this is not what you want you have to turn off boost set your own overclock frequency in BIOS

3.7ghz is his turbo speed. Task manager is just inaccurate at showing the correct speed. This happens across many different mobos and cpus. If cpuz shows the right speed, you are fine.

i only try oc when i buy ryzen. When i see differences between 3.50+ and 3.80+. Ingame for example H1Z1 30+- fps... And when i see new version date 2018-03-12 and my old 2017-08-01 i say i can try it, some fixes etc. And to make it no trouble i reinstalled Windows. And when i see in task manager 3.50GHz so I went to look to CPU-Z and i see 3800MHz So I thought it was just bug or something and i continued in work etc. But the next day i saw that over the 3.50GHz threshold it is not possible max. 3.53GHz in 100% usage. When i have 3.80GHz the 100% usage is 4.xxGHz

Task manager rarely shows the correct speed. Use cpuz.

There's no way to fix task manager. Not unless you can somehow convince microsoft to do it.

And say me how can (after new bios) cpu lock? cpu is 100% usage and max. 3800MHz before on old version bios when i play H1Z1 (for example) cpu 4200MHz+ usage 60%+-

You want turbo to be on? I don't understand. Run whatever oc you want and forget about turbo.

In the bios I only clocked RAM and CPU add voltage, MHz on CPU - Off Smart Fan CPU - And amd cool n quiet to Enable. And turbo is 3700MHz. I manualy oc to 3800MHz without problem. And super task manager showing during play 4.xxGHz (average 4.30GHz)

It's still the same problem. Task manager can't get the correct speed. Ignore it and use cpuz.
