So about 2 months ago I picked up a 1050 ti to upgrade from a 750 ti I had before. I've ran multipul benchmarks and it is basically performing the same. I believe it may be because I have old hardware surrounding it. I have a LGA1155 Mobo with a i5 3570 and 8 gb of DDR3 ram. I'm not sure if the old hardware is the problem or the old hardware is. Thanks in advance, ask me for anything to help figure it out.

Use of VRAM isn't really an indication of performance, it's more an indication of what settings you are using. Performance would be measured in frame per second.

Yes my monitor is plugged into the card and the thing is only such a small amount of vram is being used on my card yet I’m getting low FPS sometimes in the 40-50 regions
