"No intel adapters are present on this computer" CROSSHAIR VI HERO WINDOWS 10

Hello,
I have been fighting with this issue for a few weeks now and I thought it was fixed but it is not. I recently built my very first PC, and everything is beautiful except the network adapter issue.

I am using a Asus Crosshair VI hero, with a Ryzen 7 1700X. Whenever I try to install the network drivers provided through the download from the Asus site and the intel site (I have tried both) I get an error that says "Cannot install drivers. No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer. However the adapter shown on the motherboard box is the Intel I211-AT drive.

The odd thing though, is that the issue is sporadic. It didn't work at first, and then I did a fresh install of Windows, and tinkered with some stuff, and about 7 reboots later, on the 8th reboot it just worked, and the Network adapter showed up. Fast forward to yesterday (after about a week) it just stopped again. Network adapter was gone and I cannot get it back.

I have attempted reinstalling windows, BIOS settings, BIOS flashbacks, multiple different LAN downloads to see if there is something different, automatic updates, uninstalling updates, swapped cables pretty much everything. The modem does work, as I do have other devices connected to it, and I use the same cable from my PC to connect to the internet on my work computer.

Any and all help is appreciated!

You don't want network stack config on unless youre actually using it. That's for uhh like using your computer as a router type thing, or using it to bridge connections between multiple motherboards.

Intel oprom is the same thing.

It's somewhat possibly Windows update is like overwriting your lan driver's when you go to update them. I would download the latest ones from Asus, uninstall the driver for your network adapter under device manager, and then try to install the Intel lan driver's.

I do have the latest bios which is a beta version. Fun fact, this morning it worked! Then I went to get coffee with my wife, and when I came back the PC was in sleep mode, and woke it up, and the red X of doom was back.

it could be the bios is disabling the LAN chip. Try going into the BIOS and forcing it on, don't leave it as auto, as in auto it can choose itself. See if that helps. Being on auto may let it be sporadic and go off and on due to a finicky bios/motherboard

is PC set to High Performance in power options? If its set to balanced it might turn lan chip off while PC asleep

I checked the settings for the Power Options and it is set to balanced, however I did check the adapter settings in the balanced option, and it is showing maximum performance.

All I have in the BIOS (that I can find) is Network stack config (which is all enabled), and Intel Lan controller which is set to ON, and Intel LAN OPROM which is set to off. I do not see any network adapter options other than those.
