Is my CPU temps okay?

I recently built my first PC with an i5-8400 and a CYRORIG H7 cooler.
I'm interested in what the safe temps are for it.

(I should mention while building my PC, I sort of screwed up the thermal paste due to the fact the cooler was a pain to put on so I had to take the cooler off multiple times which made spread the paste a bit)

Idle: ~28-34c range.
As for heavy load, the highest I've seen it gone so far is 64c while playing BF1 at 80%-100% usage.

Are these temps okay? and should I be concerned about the summer time?
I live in California so it gets pretty dang hot in the summer.

I am considering reapplying paste, what do you think i should do?

Solution
I think your good, the max before the CPU dies is 100⁰c so 64c is ok. in the summertime, I would say it would go up, to 67?

It would not hurt the CPU by reapplying the paste, so depending on the amount of time you have. you could.
