What graphics card

Im pretty much a noob at PC stuff so be patient please. I would like to upgrade my graphics card but funds are tight. about the only online gaming I do is world of warships. I have about every graphics turned down on that game and am running at 17fps with ping 35ms. I don't need high end graphics I just want to upgrade.

I have a AMD A8-5500 APU (is that the CPU?)
with an AMD Ratheon HD 7408M series.
My power supply is 350

The A10-6800k is the strongest cpu you can get for that motherboard without having to purchase a brand new setup.
Your best bet is to try the used market, as the new ones are pretty expensive - ebay has them from $78 - $440(new).

1050 is about the best you can get on a budget right now. Stronger cards are still overpriced.
That said, world of warships isn't big on gpu resources: GT 8800+, Intel HD 4000+, or Radeon 4650+(for the minimum requirements)
I'm assuming that Radeon '7408m' is a mistype, but it looks like it at least beats the minimum requirements.

Your cpu is the weak link here - also assuming you have at least 8gb of ram - as it's actually weaker than the cpus listed in the minimum requirements.
Find your motherboard's make and model number - and update to the latest bios, and we can find the strongest possible cpu upgrade... although, it'd be better to save up for something brand new.

Thanks for the reply, the mother board is:
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. CM1745 (FM2 )
And you're right on the graphics card its a 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series
it has 12GB ram.

My suggestion is add an RX 460 or 560 or Nvidia GTX 1050, whichever is cheaper. You aren't going to enjoy that game with a 1gb APU graphics of that era. That game needs a videocard more than CPU power.

You could even go with an RX 550 or GT 1030, if money is tight. Those cards would still be a very large improvement from what you have.

Thanks, Since someone else recommended a different solution I had to sort out the repsonses, I found a way to run a scan on mine to compare it to WOWs and confirmed my cpu needs upgraded so I will look for the cpu you recommended.. I wouldn't have got to that point if you hadn't responded, I greatly appreciate your help.
