I'm at my wits end with this issue :fou:
I think i have 2 related (or maybe just coincidental) network issues.

My desktop PC (windows 10) is connected to my virgin media super hub 1 with an Ethernet cable and works perfectly never disconnects and has good download speeds. All my wireless devices, 2 android phones an iphone and a laptop randomly loose internet connection (even when i'm sitting directly next to the hub). They say they still have connection to the hub but no internet. I've now got issues with a new wireless printer (HP Deskjet 3630) it was installed from from my desktop (windows 10) and worked fine for a couple of weeks then came up as not available (0ffline). I removed it and reinstalled and now it just won't print to it. It installs fine finds it on the network installs the drivers and completes the installation and prints a network test page with and IP address and all the printer diagnostics passed but when ever you print to it it comes up as printing on the taskbar then disappears after a minute but never prints. I have now managed to install it from the laptop (windows 8) and it prints fine, but still refuses to print from the desktop or from the mobiles via the HP Smart app.

Am i missing something obvious is the printer just not compatible with windows 10 or is the problem it related to the network disconnecting? any help or suggestions really appreciated

Solution
Reason it could be dropping off the network is DHCP. If you can, reserve its IP address via your router. You can check its current IP address, via the printer's control panel.

On the router, it looks like you need to go to Home > Advanced Settings > DHCP > DHCP Reservations.
