*Frequent freeze-ups, seemingly at random, but most especially when watching YouTube videos, downloading games from Origin and Steam, or just whenever the computer is left idle for more than ten minutes. I can literally just get-up to get a drink of water, and by the time I get back to the keyboard, it has frozen.

I've read several people online say that there's driver issues, and I've tried everything I can to follow all of the given solutions. No luck all-around, and I'm at my wit's end.

There's a couple of things that I can think of. First, have you updated the bios? It looks like there's some recent updates for a raven ridge cpu. Second, is your ram on the Memory QVL (raven ridge ) list? Last, check the AsRock download page for the mobo. Did you install the drivers from here?

I flashed the BIOS to version 4.7 last night, and that was the latest version available to me.

I made sure to check the memory QVL before I put the computer together, and the G.skill F4-2400C16D-16GFT modules are on the list.

And yeah, I've tried every combination of the drivers that exists (both the ones from the AsRock site, and the ones from the AMD site. I've done a clean install of Windows every time, just to ensure I was starting from nothing.

The only thing I haven't tried is clearing my CMOS. But I never made any changes to the settings, so I wonder if that would even matter at this point.

Any more suggestions would be welcome, and thank you ahead of time for replying.
