Hi,

I was trying to find a price for an MSI GTX 1070 Gaming 8GB.
The problem that I encounter is that I can only see gaming 'x' or gaming 'z' or 'ti' models, which start at about £530.00. The normal gaming edition is no longer available anywhere. How can I appropriately price this GPU?

$379 / $449 the GTX 1070 managed to impress with its high-end performance at an attractive sub-$400 price-point. The reference-design card, however, is sold at a $70 premium over the GTX 1070 Founders Edition sitting at $449.

Yes, I'm looking to sell one, but looking at the market, the prices vary depending on the model. The cheapest gaming X model I found stands at around 530 pounds. Where as gaming model Z stands at around 660 pounds. The problem I have is that I am unable to find the original gaming edition, not the X not the Z. Because the market price for these GPUs is much higher now because of bitcoins, I am unsure of how much the original model is.

I guess there is a marginal difference in gaming performance. Well if prices went crazy, let the demand set the price. Have you considered an ebay auction style selling?

MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
Pre-Owned
$460.00

I look to the sold listings over at eBay.

That's how much it is in the States. It's selling at its original retail price.

A new GTX1070 regardless of the brand and type is around €699 today as I wrote this.
The second handed onse, if you can find them, should be around €500-600.
The GPU prices will not go down anytime soon.
I am just happy that I paid only €480 for my GTX1080 before this whole madness started.
