Upgrade DDR3 to DDR3L with core i5-2450m

Does it cause a problem to upgrade my 4GB ddr3 ram with 2X4 GB DDR3L ram in hp elitebook 8560p core i5-2450m ?
Would it improve the performance compare to a DDR3 ?

DDR3 to DDR3L -> NO, might help with battery, but if laptop can use higher speed ram, it might help. if you have 1333 and you will insert 1833 ? Ram then it will be a somewhat faster.

There is no performance change or battery save by adding a DDR3L memory in HP EliteBook 8560p, if DDR3L would even work in this laptop.

i5-2450M supports DDR3 1066/1333

So the best bet is to install with DDR3 1333MHz.
