Cutting down the PCIE 16x Pins

Hello everyone !
Unfortunately i messed up with my Motherboard and some of the PCIE 16x pins are now bent... What i want to know is: Can i cut these bent pins from the 16x slot and make it an 8x slot? Would the motherboard still work, and if i plug an external GPU into it, would there be any problem?

I dont know how fragile dekstop mobo pins are but if no pins are broken you could try straighten them. Where is the plastic connector you still have it?

Dont know english word for what is best tool.. Someone please say it.

I cant see much of the pic with my phone. But after straightening them send high quality photos.. Dont boot it until we know absolutely that no pins is shorted
