My system is now around 8-9 months old, and i have noticed my cpu temps are actig up compared to when it was new.
The first months i was running 27c idle and 37-40c on full load.
6 Fans are spinning at 1100rpm at all times.
So recently i tried to overclock my cpu using the msi quick OC and XMP profile.
Didnt feel too good about the outcome so i turned it off.
But ever since some weeks before that, i noticed my temps where up to 55c idle and 75c full load.
And whatever i do, i cant figure out why my temps are this high. I have tried to put fresh termal paste on.

My setup:
Msi pro carbon gaming z270
Intel i5 6700k
Crucial ballistix sport 4x4gb 2400mhz

Corsair hydro h100i v2
6x corsair rgp fans
Msi 1060 3gb

Solution

You tried 'clearing cmos', were you successful?
You might need to check the contact between the H100i plate on the block and the CPU heat spreader. Perhaps re- applying thermal paste.
What's the CPU fan speed?
If CPU temps appear normal on boot, but slowly rises while idle, then it could be a flow issue with the cooler...specially if temps remain high even when there isn't a high CPU usage.

.

In case the voltages remained high after overclocking
Go into the BIOS and Restore BIOS's default settings.
or
Disconnecting the AC power or turning PSU power button on the back. Press the power button to drain capacitors.
Press the clear CMOS button on the back of the I/O panel.
Wait a minute to be sure the CMOS has been cleared.
