CPU temp is higher than CPU diode

Hi, im running r5 1600@3700 now and according to AIDA stress-test first my CPU diode temp rapidly rises to 65 and then slowly goes to 72 where it stops, and CPU temp just slowly goes to 81-82.
I'm using enermax tower cooler (direct pipe contact) and mx-4 paste.
Voltage during stress is 1,375.
Why so hot? Is it possible there are some cavities in paste layer between package and tower due to direct contact construction?
Is it normal that CPU socket temp is higher than diode?

Solution

I'm using this paste for a pretty long time - nothing else. :D

So. I changed the paste and made sure there is no caverns and bubbles, im pretty sure it works, cuz CPU cooler radiator is warm. Basically nothing changed after this.

After setting all shit back i checked VRM radiator and it was hot af. I managed to mount a small 2-pin cooler on it and turn AIDA stress once more. "CPU-temp" stat droped from "82 and rising" to stable 66.

Looks like either "CPU-temp" stat in AIDA for some reason represents VRM temperature, or "CPU temp" sensor on MSI Tomahawk B350 is somewhere really near to VRM zone.

Also after changing Vcore from 1,350 to 1,300 and VSoC from...

Here is idle readings

And here is during 11 minutes of AIDA stress

Observation: CPU Tctl (what is it btw? its 92 degrees wtf), CPU Tdie and CPU diode rises pretty quickly. CPU Temp (blue graph) rises slowly.

your cpu cooler does not made is job if you use the amd one you should have around 28 c on system temp without load did you peel the little palstic tab under the cooler fins before the install of it on cpu i would check that and repaste also if you remove the cooler what is the cpu fan speed .

Ofc i removed plastic tab - i'm pretty stupid, but not that far :D
Thanks a lot tho, i'll do all maintenance and report results tomorrow around this time. Keep in touch pls, if possible :)

Also after changing Vcore from 1,350 to 1,300 and VSoC from 1,15 to 0,875 CPU diode temp dropped to 67 under full AIDA stress. On previous bios system wouldnt even start on these settings at 3,8ghz cpu and 3200mhz ram. And now it runs full aida test with no problems. New BIOS is magnificent.

Anyway, looks like problem is solved and i learned few interesting things today. Thanks for your support and time!
