Looking to spend 2k for new desktop PC build, however willing to spend up to 4k if it's worth it. Would like it to be able to support VR; wireless internet would also be a plus. Would typically use it for gaming, VR, and basic stuff...possibly I'll pick up VR too, if there is not much more bang for the buck after around 2k or so.

I am thinking of the 1080 ti GPU, and i7 6-core...would like to be able to keep it pretty cool, and not have to worry about power. Probably looking around 1TB of space, so maybe just a straight 1TB SSD...not 100% sure though, as that just may be unnecessarily costly. Also, leaning towards 32 gb of RAM.

I already have headphones, mouse, keyboard, speakers, and a monitor, so I am just looking for the case and guts.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, and thank you in advanced for any guidance.

For VR, that would be a bit of an Overkill imo, but here:

However, RAM and GPU prices are stupidly high right now and with a GPU release this month you might want to wait for more options.

Awesome man. With the information with the GPU potentially coming out, maybe I will hold off as I would imagine there will be a price drop then.

Thanks for the quick feedback, and detailed options.
