My computer wont turn on after installing RAM

So ive installed 4gb out of the 8gm i have, my motherboard has 2 ram slots, both ram cards work but both of them in at the same time dont. When i try turning on the computer again with both of them in it turns on but nothing comes up. The motherboard is the MSI B250M PRO-VD uATX/2*DDR4/1*M.2/1*PCIEx1 and the RAM is Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (2x 4GB) DDR4.

So BOTH RAM sticks work if you put them in single in either slot. Are they the same RAM? Sometimes if you put two different RAM sticks together they won't work if they are from different manufacturers etc.

Yes, using 1 RAM on either slot works, but both of them together does not.
