Hi, recently one of my fanheader on my motherboard died randomly.

I Were just playing a game as useally and noticed that gpu temp(got AIO for gpu) got hige(90C) and then i check if fan was spinning and it wasnt. So i shutdown and pluged it into another header that workes. Also have this problem that pc often wont start when cold starting, fans spinns but no bios post or anything, have to force it off and try again until it works.

So what i am asking is basically should i be worryed about my mobo dying?

Mobo: Asus Rog Maximus Ranger VIII
CPU: i7-6700k

I'd certainly look at your WARRANTY expiration date.

Electronic issues of this sort are hard to predict. The motherboard could die tomorrow, or never have another issue in the next ten years or somewhere in between.

I'd definitely RMA the board though due to the startup issue, though it's possible that could be an issue with the POWER SUPPLY but unfortunately you'd need to swap in a different PSU to verify that.

Due to the hassle of RMA'ing a board I'd borrow a PSU or buy a cheap one (even if much lower wattage just to check boot) to test that out.
