Guys I have a m4a88tmle Asus mobo and it's specs are in this website
https://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/M4A88TM_LE/specifications/at present I have a 4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram cl9 .I don't know whether this ram is single or dual channel.now I m going to upgrade it with the same stick as I have now as mentioned above .tell me where can I get the same ram if possible give website.i saw in Amazon the same transcend ram but they say it's single channel.but in my mobo specs I saw it supports only dual architecture.i am dammed with this single ,dual channel things .plz explain me clearly about this matching ram system and also where can I get the same ram I have ,through online.

Solution
one stick of RAM is single channel always.
two sticks can be either single or dual channel. if they are matched they can run in dual channel. unmatched will revert to single channel.
dual channel requires two identical sticks of RAM. IDENTICAL. same model RAM is not identical, and may not work in dual channel.
to ensure dual channel compatibility a matched set of RAM is suggested. Matched sets are the same (CAS, Speed, etc.) and tested to work as a pair.

CPU's can support multiple channels for memory. Dual channel refers to the CPU have two seperate pathways for data to travel, so speed of memory access is increased.
The only sure fire way to get matched dimms is to order a pair. You may find a single dimm that matches the specs of your existing one and it might or might not work. The reason companies supply memory kits (multiple dimms) is to ensure the iming is matched on all dimms.

Suppose if I put another ram bought individually and pair it with present one if they don't run dual channel then would both work individually in single channel or else will one work and other dies off.

if you bought another individually as close to the old as possible one of the following will happen:
the ram will work in dual channel
the RAM will work in single channel
the RAM will be glitchy and unstable when paired

no way to know till you try the sticks out and test them
