Ryzen 5 1600 low cinebench score and locked at 1 core 1 thread

Just bought the Ryan 5 1600 and out of the box did some testing on cinebench and got a score of around 1100. I went into msconfig after and set the Cores from 3 to 6 and went in my bios to overclock when going into bios my old CPU overlclock aplied to my new processor and now I am locked at 1 core and 1 thread and my cinebench score is like 500 if tried resetting the bios to optimized defaults and it still is stuck at 1 core and 1 thread I will post pictures when I get home

Which MB ? Some, like my Asus refer to core count as cores disabled not enabled. So, if I set it to 6, only one core would work because you know, with 0 cores it wouldn't work at all.
Try also another approach to CMOS reset: Disconnect power, push start button for few seconds, reset at reset pins, take battery out for at least 15 minutes, remount battery and try again.

And I haven't tried a CMOS reset. When I get home I'll take a screenshot of what my PC says but from what it showed me it only let me pick 1 core in the msconfig under boot

Get into safe boot, set back to default settings in msconfig.
