I've RMA'd my bricked Mother board after installing g.skill trident z rgb 2x8gb ddr4 3000mhz cl14 kit (F4-3000C14D-16GTZR) in my B350m-A ASUS prime. can someone please tell me if its possible that ram can brick motherboards?
also my cpu is R5 1600x.

after installing the new 2 sticks my mother board just stopped posting , but the fans and motherboard light and leds were working but no post beep.

Solution
The 'bricking' part would come more from improper installation than the actual sticks themselves.

Is it possible? Yes.
What's the chance? Less than a fraction of a percent.

I heard some guy somehow managed to put it the wrong side in the socket, but I don't remember actually if it bricked it... Maybe there's not enough power in your case
