I am buying a Zotac GT610 DDR3 2GB GPU Tomorrow for my Zeb-G41-D3 Motherboard. I came to know, after searching a lot that my Mainboard can Handle the Graphics Card but I am unaware if it won't work because of my Power Supply. My Power Supply is 250w and is it going to cause any damage to my CPU if I insert Graphics Card without changing PSU or should I first change my PSU. If I'd have to change my PSU, will this one be fine ? https://www.amazon.in/Intex-SMPS-Techno-4pin-Sata/dp/B00IPGMY8M
Thanks in advance.

You do in fact have an IGP on that board, the Intel GMA X4500. While the GT610 is 50% better, I'm not sure if it's worth 29 watts more as it's not faster enough to play any different games.

As someone who has blown parts up from using too-small PSUs, I can say that every time the only damage has been to the GPU which died. The highest wattage card I successfully used with a C2D and 250w PSU was 110w TDP. It all depends on the quality of the PSU itself.

Well, that PSU looks to be pretty terrible so I wouldn't really recommend using regardless of adding a graphics card.

It's only a ~200W PSU in reality.
That being said, the GT 610 is a very low power card.

What CPU do you have?

I just wanted to play some modern games so i sought to get gt610 and would it be fine if i get circle 400w psu ?

Psu won’t help you man no new games will run semi decent even on low settings I recommend selling or scrapping that system and getting a Dell OptiPlex 790 MT seen some on eBay go for 180 and you can make an offer so just put 160 and then use a coupon code from honey so it would be 149.99 they also come with a 1gb gpu which won’t run new games well but with low settings you’ll run at least 60fps
