PC Specs:

Windows 7 Professional
i5 4690k CPU
MSi GTX 1070 GPU
MSi Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard
XFX Black Edition 750Watt PSU --- This component is the oldest in my system its probably like 5-6 years old

Well like 3 weeks ago I was playing a game and all of the sudden my graphics driver crashed and recovered, It had been awhile since I updated the graphics driver so I updated them to the latest, After a couple of days it happened again. So I didn't really know what to do so I just dealt with it crashing every now again for a couple more days.

Then my computer started getting a black screen on start up with sound and keyboard/mouse still working, and it was like my monitor was on standby waiting for the graphics card to come on or something. It was only happening like 1 or 2 times, I just held the power off button and turned it back on waiting for it to boot properly. Although sometimes when it did end up booting properly I would try to go watch a video or play a game and they would lag really bad so I ended up restarting again.

Then it started happening even more to the point where it was taking like 3-7 times to boot properly. So I finally decided to take out the graphics card and put it into a different motherboard slot to see if that solved the issue, had to reinstall the graphics card drivers when I loaded up and everything worked great that day. The next day I had a game crash again because the graphics drivers crashed and recovered, but it still worked fine for 2 days. Now on the 3rd day the black screen issue is back in full swing and I really don't know what I need to do to fix it.

Thank you for your answer!

But as far as an RMA goes it's been about a year or year and a half since I bought the graphics card from Microcenter, and I have no idea where I put the receipt.

Plus the fact that the graphics card works fine after it finally boots properly and doesn't have a graphics drivers crash very often I don't know if it 100% for a fact is the graphics card.

I am confused why you keep saying "both system" I only have one system.
