So i have a PC: FX6300@4.5 with CM Hyper 212evo, Asus M5A97 R2, 8GB DDR3 1600 HyperX, Sapphire RX470 4GB, 1TB Firecuda, Corsair VS650, CM 431+ elite.
And the Laptop which i propose to buy is: https://www.flipkart.com/asus-core-i7-7th-gen-8-gb-1-tb-hdd-endless-4-gb-graphics-fx553vd-dm013-gaming-laptop/p/itmf3j3w4z8bvtev?pid=COMEWNDHFURW3QBH&fm=productRecommendation/similar&iid=s:COMF2YTDXMCCQWTB:b9937aa2-1033-8c22-0bc6-5b7bb2402e63.COMEWNDHFURW3QBH.LSTCOMEWNDHFURW3QBHTXYRK1&ppt=Product%20Page&ppn=Product%20Page&otracker=pp_reco_productRecommendation/similar_3

(For those who can't open link): Asus Core i7 7th Gen 7700HQ - (8 GB DDR4/1 TB HDD/Endless/4 GB GTX1050 Graphics) FX553VD-DM013 Gaming Laptop (15.6 inch, Black, 2.5 kg)

I am fed up with the instability of Win10 on my current PC so i want a laptop as i have a Asus A555L now and it runs pretty smooth with Win10 without any issues and instability.

Am i making a rational choice? Any other better Laptop than this under INR 60,000?

You probably messed up win 10 with a bad driver or something else on accident.
A reinstall + correct driver installation should fix the problem.

Also why are you getting a laptop instead of another desktop?

I had to perform clean install and fresh driver updates frequently because of the BSOD's causing by disk errors, I RMA'ed my new 1TB Firecuda because of this and getting it replaced didn't solved my problems relating to disk errors irrespective of running Chkdsk /f /r command numerous times.
One time it shows disk error repaired(no further action is required) while other time it shows A disk error occured c0000483( the disk does not have enough space to replace the bad cluster).
i don't mess up with any drivers intentionally as i use my ASUS A555L laptop without any issues, so i reckon my older hardware not keeping up with the latest OS Windows 10 RS5 1803 v17618 which i use on my laptop too.

If you need portability, then a laptop is what you need.

Otherwise, a desktop stands to buy you a stronger gaming experience for the dollar.
You will also have a more immersive larger monitor.

Your cpu is obsolete and not a very good gamer.
But the GTX1050 laptop graphics will be a step back from your RX470.

For $250 or so, you can buy a stronger G4600 cpu, a lga1151 motherboard and 8gb of ddr4 ram.
Not that I particularly recommend that combo; it can go up from there.

All new laptops come with windows 10; it is hard to avoid that.
You can likely fix any current software issues by reinstalling your current windows 10.

Today, I would never build again without a ssd for windows.

Not now, but i need portability in coming future. I know a desktop will offer better performance per dollar but i reckon i need a laptop.

Actually it's a great suggestion but i think G4600 cpu is not overclock-able considering it's 2 cores and future compatibility with games will be not good. GTX 1050 will be a minor step back from RX470 but i7 7700HQ outperforms both FX6300 @4.5ghz and a G4600. I connect it to my Bravia anyways so monitor not needed and the laptop i linked does not comes with Win10 as i needed.

Given today's prices, some of the gaming laptops certainly do offer more performance per dollar, or at least you aren't overpaying for a desktop GPU.

Some of those i7-7700HQ + GTX1060 6G laptops are looking pretty good compared to building a PC with a GTX1060 6G.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA6R46TJ6706 ($1200, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, 1060 6G)

Might optimize a little better by dropping the hard drive, and the CPU is certainly a step up. But pretty darn close...

And if I were to go for parts I was likely to buy, with a cpu cooler and some fans and a nice case, it would break $1200.

I wouldn't kick a mobile 1050Ti 4GB out the door either. Probably would draw the line there, though my current laptop with its GT740 doesn't even compare.

Acer predator Helios 300 is over INR 60,000. I need under INR 60,000.

That is going to take some shopping around on your part. I only know a few Indian websites, and I have no idea what my trust level would be with them.

Just in general, now is not the time to be thinking about building a desktop PC unless absolutely necessary. Double the dram prices, double the GPU. Only good things to get right now would be a CPU/Motherboard, but since you have DDR3, that complicates things.

That's why i am preferring to buy a laptop with i5 7th gen with 1050Ti. I am bending towards Acer Nitro 5.
