SSHD Keeps causing dock to disconnect

I have a 1000gb Seagate Laptop SSHD. That randomly stopped working. SN:W772C9F1 had it tested was told the PCB was bad, and needed the bios chip swapped to another board, did that and still doesn't work. It does something strange though. When i put it into my AC powered 2 bay USB3.0 Sabrent dock, it disconnects the USB device, like I unplugged the dock. And as soon as I pull the drive from the dock the usb device comes back. the Dock functions perfectly I went through a pile of hard drives and they all worked SSHD's, SSD's, regualr drives. Any ideas?

It's not the shortest of processes (although it's been several years since i last had to do it, they may have improved), but i would check the guarantee of the HDD, and contact Seagat to request an RMA. Send them the disk, and request a new one. My two cents! Good luck!

Actually did try that, but alas it was outside of the manufacture warranty. They wouldn't touch it, unless i paid like $900 US for them to look at it, Dutch crooks. :p
Thanks for the idea though :)
