Since my current graphics card died and I am looking for a cheap alternative for a dual monitor setup for the time being, is this card capable of doing so? I can get it really cheap at a local computer parts store.

I have looked through the specifications as well as searching up the web, but I was unable to find anything regarding that. I don't care about the cards performance in games nor in GPU tense software, since it's primary use would be revolved around just powering my 2 displays(one is 1366x768 and the other 1240x1024) for office work, browsing the web, and other lightweight tasks.

If my old ATI X1800XL could handle two displays, I would certainly think that a graphics card that's a few generations newer would be able to handle it. I think the main concern of the other poster is the lack of a cooling fan, but since you're not using it for anything too intensive, it should be fine.

It would overheat. No

You could go to ebay and find an inexpensive graphics card.

Cards on these pages are inexpensive. That card that your showing even though it is worth no more then 10 dollars, is actually worthless. Don't ultracheap out on your home office.

Are you sure? Since my last graphics card was a cheap GT 210 with a passive cooler on it, and I could run these displays for days without turning off, and it was fine. For the record, the GT 210 DVI connector died, so I am no longer capable of using my standard dual monitor setup.
