R9 280X Anti Aliasing blur

Hello guys,





I have problem with my r9 280x which makes my games blur and ugly when i turn on ANTI-ALIASING in Gta v, The witcher 3, pubg, finalfantasy XV, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Final fantasy 12, mostly in every games i played, except for csgo and dota.



My specs:



GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 280X Vapor-X

CPU: Intel i5 4460

Motherboard: MSI B85-G43 Gaming

RAM 8GB 1600mhz

Windows 10 home 64bit

Drivers : 18.3.2

PSU: Seasonic 620W



Or is my gpu just broken?

All of the mentioned games, except CS:Go and DOTA use deferred rendering so neither MSAA or SSAA can work, only post-process filtering. Or a sort of ordered-grid supersampling can be created with AMD virtual supersampling (VSR) or nVidia Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) by running the game at a much higher resolution and downscaling it back down to the monitor's native resolution.

What sort of AA? I don't know what sort of blurring you're seeing, but I believe most (maybe all?) forms of post processing AA (FXAA, TXAA, etc.) will result in some blurring. That's the price you pay for using AA with little performance impact, compared to 'true' AA like MSAA.
 
To be frank, all AA does is blur. That is how it achieves smoothing of the lines, but how much it blurs and how targeted that blurring is does depend on the implementation used. MSAA only blurs targeted lines, and often leaves other lines completely untouched. Post processing AA gets no help on where to search for lines to blur, and as a result, tends to blur a lot more of the screen. SSAA tends to be the ultimate in AA, as it not only gets the outside lines that MSAA does, but tends to fix all jagged lines. It does produce blurring, but tends to be within most peoples tolerance.

FXAA is one of the worst in terms of blur. There is another one that AMD has built into their drivers that can be enabled that is just as bad at blurring. I can't seem to recall the name exactly, but you probably don't want either of those enabled.

A picture and description of the settings that are used would be helpful.

looks how blurry it is , if i set AA to off , it will become sharpen , but will have screen tearing

for FXAA , it still blurry but little bit compared to TAA



 
That's just one type of AA. Try MSAA, or SSAA. As far as post processing AA methods, SMAA works pretty good. TAA does produce some blur, though it's not as bad as some I've seen. AA comes in many different flavors with different strengths and weaknesses. You can only test and see which types you like and use the ones you do like, and not the ones you don't.

On that list, I know the Witcher 3 also uses MSAA as an option. There have been a number of deferred rendering games which have MSAA options, though they aren't usually as efficient as normal. The point was to try MSAA, SSAA and SMAA (post processing).
