PC seems to not be using all the Ram I have installed

I've tried unchecking max memory in the boot advanced options but that didn't work.
So I've brought up my system information page and it says my available physical memory is only 999mb when I have 8GB installed.

All help is appreciated because I can't even run more than 3 tabs on google chrome without it crashing haha!

Can you post screenshot from Resource monitor - memory tab?
Also CPU-Z - memory and spd tabs.

Yes mate, I've just reverted back to an old build of windows as the problems occurred when I updated my windows. So far it looks all in order but if it goes to how it was and chrome is taking up 93% memory I'll repost here, see if you can help further.
