I have been experiencing pc freezes (or hang ups) where i cant move my mouse or do any task and i am obligated to restart my pc to get it back to normal. It happens once a day only. It started happening around the same time i bout a samsung ssd and reinstalled the os on that ssd. I got my pc checked by 2 different techniciens and neither of them could find the probleme. They did stress tests and checked all of my components and everything seemed to be fine. When my pc was in a techs hands, it would never freeze but as soon as i got home about 2 days later it would freeze again. They even checked my new ssd and said it was fine. So i looked online for other reasons and i stumbleupon a post that said it might be a faulty usb device. So i unplugged my new yetti and still the freeze came back. So i updated bios and graphics card drivers and still no fix. So as a last resort i tried to change the sata mode to ide and my computer didnt start so i put it back to default. Could it be my power bar not working well? Could it be my power cable not working well. Or could it be just dust causing this probleme?

Thank you in advance.

Check cables how are connected to the GPU is it single cable or 2 cables?
Download CPU-Z and run AIDA64 (after you run it, in "tools" run "system stability test" for 1-2min and while its running take screenshot of CPU-Z 1st tab).
Because either cables aren't propetly or voltage is too low.

Have you tried different plugs in your house
When my pc was in a techs hands, it would never freeze

But thats the thing im pretty sure thats not the issue because when i first got my pc it would never freeze i started getting freezes only a couple months ago and i got the pc more than 3 yeats ago.

Hmm, do they use UPS in shop? Where do you live?

Freezing can occur due to bad ram or windows drivers, but as it works fine in shop, that comes to power outlet issue because powersupply (now depending where you live) for example in EU 220-240V can work fine and same for 100-120V but if you take it China/Japan where power is variable it wont work fine because the voltage drops under the spec or going over the spec and that causes low or high 12V rails in PSU.

Go to event viewer and windows logs and application, anything with red symbol is error, but try to find that are there multiple times (you can sort them via "Level" tab) i dont think this is gonna help.

Sorry i might be wrong.

I noticed something last night though i tested my secondary hard drive ( main drive is samsung ssd) with crystal disk info and it said that my ssd was at 100% life and was fine but my hard drive had a c5 error it says " caution current pending sector count". Can my secondary drive cause my pc to freeze even if it dosent have the os on it?
