Hello,
I'm planing to change some components in my PC in next week

I want to buy :

z370 extreme4 mobo : https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Z370%20Extreme4/index.asp
i7 8700k cpu : https://ark.intel.com/products/126684/Intel-Core-i7-8700K-Processor-12M-Cache-up-to-4_70-GHz
corsair vengeance 2x4gb 3000mhz cl15 ram

My current gpu is 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (Gigabyte).

I got 500w psu and I don't have money to buy it right now. Also considering high gpu prices I decided to wait for prices to lower a bit.

My question is : Can I run my new configuration on this psu ?

Thank You for Your answers.
Regards.

A quality ~500W unit would be sufficient.

For the money (after rebate), while an older platform, the SeaSonic S12II 520W is a great unit for $30! ($45 less rebate)

Power Supply: SeaSonic - S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $29.99

For newer platforms, of great quality the EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550W is $70 but has a 20% discount, making it $59 shipped.

PSU is https://www.silentiumpc.com/en/vero-l1-500w-80plus-standard/

Provided you aren't overclocking anything your 500W PSU should provide enough juice to run it all. It kind of depends on how many drives you have as well. If you are running an SSD and an HDD you should be fine. If you are running 4 HDDs you're probably going to have a bad time.

In once had a similar borderline case and any time my DVD drive spun up the system crashed. I had to remove a hard drive I wasn't really using to get it stable. Part of it also depends on how good your PSU is. A good quality PSU will give you a lot less problems near the red line than a cheap one.

Won't overlock anything for now.

95W TDP CPU, 230W TDP GPU..... on a PSU that's not exactly great...

It's a step above "junk", based on older models anyway:

But still not great. If it's got some age to it too, it'll have degraded some too.

As a very short-term solution, I'd think you *should* be ok..... but definitely do not overclock, and make sure the PSU is kept pretty cool.
