pc wont boot after bios update

so i updated my Pc Bios as i got a new Cpu and now after the update windows is trying to repair itself. i tried clearing Cmos by taking out the battery but i still get the same problem.
specs: asrock h61m-s
cpu:i3 2100

How is Windows repairing itself if it won't boot?

So it boots. I don't think you have a BIOS problem. I think you have a Windows problem.

I had a Windows repair fail on Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit) last year, and I restored from a backup image I had made. If you don't have a backup image, then a clean installation of Windows is what I would recommend.

Well...when it boots into Windows does it go RIGHT to trying to repair itself and then it fails? OR....can you get into windows and do things.
