I dont have enough money to get a decent graphics card and a decent cpu so would it be better to get 2400g and just use the integrated gpu and wait for the prices on the gpus to go down or get the 1300x and the rx 560 2gb?

Edit: I would use this mainly for gaming

Alright I have decided to go with 2400g and the iGPU route, and also 8 gb of 3200 mhz RAM, thank you for your input but I still think 85$ is too much for a graphics card like rx 560..this way I will have a processor that will last me longer and I can just wait until the graphics card prices drop down (hopefully) and buy a better one then! And this iGPU is enough for all the games I wanna play..eg: CS:GO, fortnite, rocket league and games like that.. thank you for your help

I'd skip the 1300X and opt for the R3 1200. Same end result through OCing (paired with a B350 board).

The iGPU could be more reasonably compared to RX 550 territory (falls short of it though).

So, from a raw horsepower standpoint, for gaming, an R3 1200 + 560 is substantially ahead.
For "mainly gaming", it would make the most sense though.

All else being equal (motherboard, RAM), the R3 1200 + 560 would set you back about $250.
Vs an R5 2400G @ $165.

Is +$85 "worth it"? Only you can decide.... IMO, yes, the difference in performance justifies the additional cost.

Well wouldnt I get more performance if I just OC the r3 1300x then OC r3 1200? I have enough money for it

+ I dont know how it is in the US but its only 15$ more in my country..

Not really, no. They tend to hit the same upper limit (around 3.9GHz, 4.0GHz if you get lucky).... so the added $15 is a waste IMO.

Running at stock, the added 300MHz between the two (3.4 vs 3.7) is a decent justification for $15, but if you're prepared to overclock, you'll hit the same end result anyway.

Remember, whichever route you go, you're going to want 2933-3200MHz RAM.... as both Ryzen, and APUs benefit substantially from faster memory (arguably, the APUs moreso, as the iGPU will also use system memory).
