i have my PC on a top pannel above my tv. i would like to ask if there is a way i could move the PC power switch somehow so i can turn it on without having to strech all the way up. like on the desk. and can i install like a power on/off switch on my pc and stretch it all the way down

Theoretically, it's easy enough - all the power "switch" does is complete the circuit. Connect wires of appropriate length from the motherboard connector (exists from the case anyway), the length you need, route it out of the case to where you want it and re-mount the button.

Finding an off the shelf component of that length though, could be a little tough.

Are you talking about the power on switch on the PSU or on the PC? I wouldn't mess with the PSU switch, but you could run wires from the motherboard header to a remote switch and locate it where ever it is most convenient for you.

Check your motherboard manual. It would connect to the same pins as the case power switch. You would need what is called a momentary switch, in that it is only closed when you press the button, and opens automatically as soon as you release the switch.

The remote would work just fine for that, I did notice some people selling also switches on longer cables as well on amazon, although I think the wireless starter would be the best solution, the USB port would have to be giving power when the computer is off, this will work out of the box on a vast majority of comsumer motherboards, and the others having ways to turn it on in the BIOS, and it has passthrough for your existing switches so those can still start and restart the computer.

so it would fit my pc just fine. another thing. i have a lot of power outage here were i live because of the passing storm that happened on September. if the pc were to shut down completely will the remote still turn it on?

Yes unless you either unplugged it from the wall, or flipped the power switch on the back of the power supply, you would have to plug it back in or reflip that switch than you could start it just fine. Any solution you would find online would have that same limitation (Which is the same as the power button's on your case)
