Hi.
So lately I wanted to download a temperature program to see how is my pc doing.
Idle is 30-42
and while i open pubg it can go up to 90.
and the motherboard reaches 96!
Btw I also have a liquid cooler - Antec KÜHLER H2O 950
and still I get to these unusual temperatures, I also cleaned my pc from dust and replaced my thermal paste which gave me good temperatures for 1 day? and the next day it got up to 80-90 again. please help! i have been dealing with this for a long time and im thinking about buying a new computer just because of this problem.
For the temperatures I use: Speccy + Antec Grid (for the liquid temps)

Are you sure it's not a software problem? Maybe the temperature sensors could be borked. When you see 90° try feeling the back of your PC to see if it really is that hot. 30-42° idle is a good idle temperature. You should also make sure there's nothing conflicting with your water cooler. Maybe try draining and refilling your water cooler.

I have repositioned the pc sideways for this week and everytime it got to 80+ i would open the window and put my hand in front of the fans and it wasn't that hot but most certainly it wasnt cold.
how can i check if the temperatures are actually legit?

Not sure if there is a good way to check if the temperatures are correct. If the CPU really was 90° you would definitely feel it, not to mention your PC would probably shut off due to thermal conditions. I would just keep a close eye on it and feel back there every once in a while.

First I think the MB sensor is actually the die sensor. So what you are seeing is the CPU die is hitting 96, and the sensor underneath the CPU is hitting 90. Your motherboard should not be hitting 90, if it is you are feeding it bad power. I'd try reseating the water cooler, and then also, since you didn't list it, list what PSU you are using.
