Ryzen 5 2400G Help

Basically, I finished building my but the screen wouldn't turn on. I am using the new ryzen 5 vega graphics cpu and I tried every thing to make it turn on but it wouldn't work. I am currently using the corsair vs550 and the gigabyte A320M-DS2
Help please!!!!!!

Some motherboards need a bios update to use the 2200 or 2400G. That's because those CPUs are so new that those motherboards did not have support built in. It looks like your motherboard needs bios F10 or newer(dated 12/05/2017).

Just to add on to the above post- check the box that the mobo came in. There should be a sticker with the bios version. If the bios version is ok, try a cmos reset of the mobo.

If you contact AMD they will send you a A6-9500 CPU to borrow so you can get your BIOS update done. Without that BIOS update the CPU won't work.

You can also try to source an AM4 CPU from somewhere or pay a shop to do the update for you.
