Hello
I recently installed win 7 in a new HDD.
After the install and after the first reboot the system wont boot.
IT gets stuck at the bios screen and no keys work.
If we remove the HDD the system works and goes beyond the boot screen and says no OS found.
Please help.

Solution
Couldn't find such option in the BIOS settings.

1. its not IN your bios.
2. look at motherboard manual (or tell me what make/model it is) and look for "cmos reset"
if not jumper or not mentioned, then disconnect power from wall, pop the battery on motherboard, then wait 3-4 Minutes, put battery back in, apply power to wall, try to boot.
specs of the system would be most helpful to identify issue.

Just to make sure I understand the issue, you booted with usb/cdrom, found hdd installed it and on first reboot it fails to run.. disconnect drive and reboot and stuck at bios.

I would connect hdd, when booting Got to Bios (del or f2 on hardware splash screen) and check you can see the hdd from bios
are you installing windows 7 on a pre 2015 computer or newer?

ITs a i3 7100 CPU with gigabyte h110ms-2 MB and 4 GB Adata DDR4RAM with 250GB WD HDD.

The installation was done via DVD drive attached to the system.
The installation works fine and is complete, but after i rebooted the system it wont come back.

I cant press any keys as the system freezes at the bios splash screen where it asks us to press the keys.
The bios is updated to the latest version released in Mar 2018

Installation of windows 7 on newer systems (like H110 chipset) require integration of USB drivers into installation.
Without those drivers no usb device is going to work.
I assume USB type keyboard and mouse is used here. Right?

Use PS/2 type keyboard/mouse till USB drivers are installed. Or reinstall windows with appropriate drivers integrated into installation.

Or install windows 10. It doesn't have this issue.

Yes a wireless KBM was used for installation.

And i tried with a PS2 keyboard but the results are still the same.
The screen is stuck at the bios screen if HDD is connected.

Its a refurbished one. No other storage connected to the system.
This is the 3rd HDD facing this problem in this config. Tried in other system and they work without issues.
All HDD same issue, after the install is complete and restarted .

NOpe this is a fresh system and not a reisntalltion

I do not think so as i mentioned this is the 3rd one facing the same problem in this system, while they work in other ones perfectly.
