Description

Hi all !

I have an issue with the Z370 TAICHI and my RAM.

I have 2 x RAM from TEAMGROUP (8gb DDR4 3200mhz - cl 14/14/14/31 1.35v) and the dual channel doesn't work.

(8700K delid by CaseKing.de - 4,8 Ghz Pro edition)

Bios : 1.60 (last, no beta)

W10 x64

2x 8Gb DDR4 3200 mhz (TeamGroup - 8Pack edition)

So I test :

1x RAM (Memory device) on the DDR4_A2 (the second from the left) : work

but !

1x RAM on the DDR4_A2 + 1x RAM on the DDR4_B2 (the fourth from the left) : error !

The MB code error : 4C 00 15

If I remove the RAM on the DDR4_B2 its work...
Thanks for advice(s)

Sure but the bios can't boot with 2 on them

On the Z370, sticks must go to, in priority, on the 2 and 4 channels/slots

When I plug 2 sticks : error bios : 4C 00 15

With 1x stick : OK ! (on the 2nde slot)

So I can run my setup (i'm on it!) with only one stick on the 2nd channel.

Thanks

OK,

answer from AsRock :

"Hello,

because memory controller is built in CPU, there can be a problem with it or CPU socket.

Please check following:
- remove CPU and check if there is any pin bended or broken in CPU socket.
- use CLRCMOS jumper on mainboard to re-set BIOS to default. See manual for more details.
- test if possible the CPU + memory on another system if they are working well.
- remove the mainboard from chassis and test again. Maybe a short-circuit from chassis to mainboard?

A defect on the hardware itself is still possible. Please contact your dealer for further help."

Re,

No works

damn... haha

Memtest : OK (with 1 stick test + 1 stick test) 0 errors on the both sticks...
hum... the MB is the issue ? The RAM ?

I reply to others to see...

Hi there, i have the same problem with my pc also, the pc was running without any problems for about 10 days. Yesterday my pc didnt boot and it does boot only when 1 of my RAMs is on. Did you find s solution to your problem?
