I can't seem to fix this problem.

I recently changed my hard drive due to need of more space, (Before it was 160 gigabytes now it's 500) but since I installed the new one, my computer can't handle games it used to. Could this just be because the hard drive is still installing certain needs?

Post here the specs (if you remember) of the previous HDD (rpm, which sata?) and of the new one that you are now using.
