Hi, i have two 1080's in my system and tried to play pubg. I got a lot of stuttering.
I formatted my pc installed the latest drivers, tried to optimize as best i could in the nvidia control panel and disabled sli. None of those worked. only ting that worked was physically taking out my second 1080. What could be the problem? because i really do not want to have to put the card in and out all the time.

Thanks in advance.

1080p?

pubg is cpu bound, and doesnt really support sli very well

your 1700 is also not strong enough for 1080 sli especially crippled at stock settings
This is the reason people like myself never recommend SLI or crossfire, either it's not supported at all, or if it is, it's not well optimized and causes stuttering. I think PUBG falls into the 2nd category, it may be supported but it doesn't increase performance by much and is know to cause the issues you're seeing.
