I'm planning to build a Gaming PC this summer and after reading lots of articles and reviews I decided to go with these components:

-Motherboard: MSI Z370 Gaming Plus (ATX)
-CPU: Intel i5 8600k-3.6Ghz-Coffe Lake
-RAM: Corsair (2x4GB) 8GB-DDR4-2400Mhz-CL14 (Dual channel)
-CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 (6 heatpipes/dual fans)
-GPU: MSI GTX 1070ti-256bit-8GB-GDDR5-DirectX12 (This is for a later update...this year I'll use the GTX 1050-2GB-OC from the old PC)
-PSU: Corsair CX650M-650W (modular power supply)
-Case: Corsair Carbide 300R windowed (I'm really not sure about this one...can you recommand me a great case which will fit a 170mm CPU cooler <= 100$)
-Monitor: ASUS VG278Q 27"-1080p-144Hz-1ms-Eye Care Gaming LED (DP/HDMI/DVI)

I want to know if all these are compatible with each other, any suggestions would be appreciated!:)
Link to a screenshot with all of them (the total is 1000$ without the GPU) http://

That will make a great system!

If I can nit-pick a bit, here's the changes I'd make.

As you picked a K cpu, and a VERY beefy CPU cooler, I'm assuming you have some serious overclocking goals. If that hunch is true, that motherboard isn't the way to go. It only has 6 VRM phases. Not really meant for overclocking. At least not to a high level anyways. That's my biggest concern for your system. If you want to stick with MSI, at least consider the Tomohawk or Krait boards. Still not the best for OCing, but at least they have 10 VRM phases.

As for the PSU, I'd get a higher end one myself. The one you have chosen is a great budget level PSU, don't get me wrong. But for OCing, you want to get one with higher quality parts than the Corsair...

And the last change I'd make, actually two changes, would be more and faster ram. It'll depend on what games you are playing, but on some newer titles 8Gb is cutting it close. And it's a small performance increase only, but I'd get faster ram than 2400Mhz.

I only add the feedback for you to have all the facts. Everyone has a budget to work with, and I understand that. Like I said at the beginning, your system will be great as is, even without the changes I'm proposing. All depends on your budget.

Thanks a lot for the feedback,I appreciate!
What do you think about these changes then?
(I don't think it will affect my budget that much)
-MMO: MSI Z370 Tomohawk
-PSU: Corsair RM650x-650W
-RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x4GB) 8GB-DDR4-3000Mhz-CL15(and i'll upgrade to 16GB in the near future)
Edit:I won't be playing games that require that much RAM anyway. The only game that might need the 16GB would be Rise of Tomb Raider.

Those are nice upgrades, especially if the budget stays on point!

Are you open to using other suppliers other than Amazon? Are you familiar with https://pcpartpicker.com ? It'll search for you and find the best prices on the parts you choose.

Cases are a personal choice of course. But I'll offer this one up for consideration ($100 range). It has 2 140mm fans. Steel frame. Dust filters all around. Phanteks make great cases. Check it out and see if it fits your taste!

I'm not that familiar with Amazon either, but as long as the supplier can send the product worldwide,i'm in!
As for the case...the one you're recommending it's awesome,i think i'll go for that one (but does it fit the the "big" Noctua?)

That case supports CPU coolers up to 194mm. MASSIVE space.

What country are you in if you don't mind me asking?

P.S. I deselected myself as 'best answer' just to get you some more viewers in this thread. If you select 'best answer' less people tend to come, as they feel you don't need any more input. May as well see what others say right?

Like the case, have a soft spot for Phanteks cases because they can be dismantled ( fairly ) easily and still have 5 1/4" drive bays, VERY handy for oldies like me who like to run movies off disc and their fans off a visible controller.

The changes make sense if you're planning on some serious overclocking BTW, good to see a poster boosting the PSU quality as well, so many forget how important this part is when pushing the system hard.
