( Question ) How to fix lag on good pc ???

Hey guys !! can you help me ??

My pc spec :

CPu : Amd A12 (overclocked)
Ram : 16Gb (ddr4)
Gpu : Radeon Dual Graphic (2Gb vram)

Okkay... the problem is...
LAG

When i play "low-end spec" games (cod-black ops & nfs-mostwanted 2005) i have really big LAG.

I dunno whats the problem...
I've update all my driver and that problem is still there.

the only game that not lag on my pc is : GTAV & Battlefield 3.

I think, my pc is good enough to play those game.

- Cod-blackops 1&2&3 =lag
- Nfs Most Wanted 2005&2012 =lag (2fps max)
- Nfs Payback =fps drop every 5 second
- nfs hot pursuit 2010 =fps drop to 5 every 10 second
- outlast =only 8 fps (even on really low settings)
- L4d 1&2 = only 12 fps
- Dead island 1&2 = lag when walk, but not lag when running.
- Csgo =lag after i update it
- Tomb Raider =only 14 fps max
- Payday 1&2 =lag
- Mirrors Edge 1& catalyst =fps drop when opening door
- Minecraft =only 20fps, but its drop when in jungle

Note :
1. Lag=19 Fps
2. All settings is turned to low (very low)
3. Resolution (low)

Thats my problem...

Ihave REINSTALL my windows, but its still lag.

I have laptop with 4Gbram (ddr3) playing Nfs-Hot pursuit...

It got only 30 fps (but its constant, no fps drop)

What graphics cards?

Xfire might be the problem, try just the one card. Gta 5 has support for multi gpu, not sure about the others.

Are you running Win10? If so, disable game bar first then uninstall it. Disable it first.

dual graphics is either two identical graphics cards working together or an APU (cpu graphics) working with the graphics card. You need to determine what you have exactly as these are the types of questions you'll be asked in future if you run into problems.

So you don't know what graphics cards you have or if the APU is involved to label you pc as dual graphics. If you do have an actual graphics card make sure the video cable is connected to that instead of the motherboard.

In this picture you have vertical set of inputs and under that there is an horizontal set with DVI HDMI and VGA. This picture is just an example so your computer would be similar and a graphics card it would be the horizontal set of plugs. The top vertical set belongs to the motherboard and that would have video ports too most likely. You want the graphics card to give you the performance not the motherboard video.

If you are using the video card then back to Game bar and fullscreen optimisation.

If disabling game bar/XBOX doesn't help start your games with a shortcut, right click the shortcut -> properties - > compatiblity -> check the box to disable full screen optimizations - > apply.

fullscreen optimisation is part of game bar so disabling game bar to disable fullscreen opt should work but not always.

Full screen optimisation is a blend between full and borderless screen. A lot of games are played in either borderless window or full screen, not both same time.

This shall probably fix all your problems: Reinstall your windows AGAIN and see if this helps.
First watch your temps when are you gaming, sometimes when a IGPU or GPU gets heat and over the max supported temps it will throtte( slow down) to get colder.
If it gets above atleast 80C degrees let us know then.

Full screen optimisation is found under the compatibility tab of a short cut made to launch the game. Its not an option in game bar.

Dual graphics, did you find out what you actually have? Is it two physical cards linked together?

Or is it one graphics card + Apu graphics from the cpu?

If its graphics card + Apu,

Motherboard video = Cpu graphics

Graphics card video = Better performance

Video cable must be connected to graphics card

That might be the problem then. If your laptop is now doing the same thing it could be win updates.

No i meant latest win update migjt be the reason for loss of performance. Since you said your laptop was fine, what other change could there be...
